Apparently he said that America needs to create another branch of the armed forces for space, and get this, he wants to call it the Space Force. Gotta give him props on originality. Naturally, the Internet has been alight with memes. However, this gets us talking about what such a claim (should it be real) would mean. Would this create a war in space? What kind of technology would be needed for such a thing? And if people ever go colonize Mars, would they be breaking away from the United States or the earth as a whole?
