Sports Fanatics (Topicocalypse Episode 41)

We're talking about sports on this episode of Topicocalypse! More specifically, we're talking about sports fanatics. Bryan Kane PhD was watching a soccer game this weekend, and noticed that people in the stands were crying when their team lost. He thinks that soccer is the greatest sport in the world (he's wrong), but we're all agreed that live sporting events are the best thing in the world. We're talking about some of the things that people say and do that goes far beyond winning or losing, including people who think they're experts, people who find their identity in sports (people who say "we" did well), personalized sports jerseys, and people who act like walking sports analysts. We talk about all of this and plenty of other side tangents (as is typical of Topicocalypse) on this episode of Topicocalypse. Sit down, buckle up, and enjoy!

As always, we want to thank you for listening. You can find our back episodes on Podbean, podcasts.com, iTunes, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Google Play, and other great podcasting outlets. You can find us on the Internet at Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. We hope you enjoy.
