The Last Spell: A Tactical RPG with Roguelite Elements

With gamescon rapidly approaching, we're seeing more trailers drop for games hoping to make waves at the world's biggest gaming expo. Amongst those hopeful crowdpleasers is The Last Spell, a game CCCP, a French game studio with a wide variety of game and genres under their belt that can be played on both mobile formats and Steam. This week, the trailer for The Last Spell dropped, and if the game is anywhere as cool as the soundtrack, this could be something special indeed.

Press Release: The Last Spell, the turn-based tactical RPG with roguelite elements from CCCP where hardened heroes defend humanity’s final bastion from hordes of blood-starved monstrosities, emerges from the darkness and will be playable for the first time ever at gamescom.

Widespread abuse of magic enveloped the world in a mist teeming with deadly creatures. Help mankind cast one final spell to end all magic and monsters. Take advantage of fleeting daylight and refortify with traps and new abilities by equipping mighty weapons gathered from fallen foes.

Feverishly fight through the night, cleaving through hordes of enemies as they hunt down the last living mages. Use souls earned from kills to buy permanent buffs for future playthroughs, adding hope to the next attempt to save humanity.
