What's up science-fiction fans? We're back with another special one off episode of Topicocalypse. Josh is following up his review of the Black Panther with another review of the new Alex Garland film Annihilation, which stars Natalie Portman, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tessa Thompson, Tuva Novotny and Gina Rodriguez. Unfortunately, Forrest Whittaker wasn't in this one, but hey, you can't win them all, right? Anyway, in this review I'm going to go sort of in-depth with the story and really in-depth with the both the storytelling and technical aspects of the film. Annihilation is probably the most beautiful film that I just didn't get.
