Are YouTube's New Ad Policies Helpful or Harmful? (Topicocalypse Episode 28)

On this episode of Topicocalypse . . . Danial has been spending a lot of time on YouTube, and he's officially annoyed with the ads. After YouTube released their new ad policies, taking away monetization and changing the way they show ads, streamers and viewers alike aren't feeling happy about it. For example, Danial saw the trailer for Pacific Rim: Uprising twelve times in the course of an hour. Does he want to see the movie now? No, he doesn't. So the question he brings to the table is, are these new ad policies helpful or harmful to the product being advertised? We get into Google's advertising system, big channels, and why YouTube Red is not worth the price tag. Also, will anything ever replace YouTube? All of this and more on this episode of Topicocalypse.
