Mutant Mudds Super Challenge (Review)

Hello curious viewers and gamers, this is Grilled Renerz here to talk about my first look review of Mutant Mudds Super Challenge! Upon receiving the generous Playstation 4 code to play the game from Game Source(#gamesource), I completely have no idea what this game is about! Mutant Mudd’s Super Challenge (Renegade Kid, Nighthawk Interactive MSRP $9.99) is a pixelated adventure full with color and wonderful chiptune music.

From the sound effects to the animation, everything seems to be designed to fill players with quirky happiness. The worlds that I have seen so far are colored simply with great detail into the smaller architectures such as doors and the flora. Apparently right from the beginning you are facing adversaries called appropriately enough, the Mutant Mudds.

Their name says it all, you will find a Mudd shape of a pigbird that drops bombs to a weird ball shaped one with spikes! The difficulty of these enemies are just one part of the game, as the platforming is constructed very well. From spikes to environmental hazards, this game has kept me on the edge of the seat, with my heart pounding furiously. You won’t be just jumping around, you will also be accompanied by a bubbly jetpack and a bubble gun (I think).

There is not much words to describe whats going on in the game literally, but the information is simply shown precisely through great visuals.

I loved testing out the first four worlds as the game gives you access to those worlds, but it is not wise to completely play starting without finishing the first area.

There is a death counter too and that’s just the beginning of the fun. This game is one of those very crazy difficult but satisfying fun! I sincerely hope you’ll give Mutant Mudds Super Challenge a look or even better a playthrough or two!
