Sorry Gamers, Fallout 76 is not going Free To Play (for now)

Fallout 76 Rumors Continue To Fuel Speculation (Bethesda-NAT Games)

Responding to a customer via Twitter, Bethesda has denied moving its latest release, Fallout 76 to a Free-To-Play format. When an angry Twitter user and Fallout 76 customer (@xGTExDopey) commented on rumors of the game going F2P, Bethesda quickly responded on the social media platform "There is no truth to this rumor".

Fallout 76 has been a disappointment for Bethesda, both critically and sales-wise, since its release on November 14. 2018. The game only compiled a 52 score on Metacritic and according to the NPD did not generate enough in sales to crack the top 25 overall for 2018. Whether or not Fallout 76 will go F2P remains to be seen, but the lack of success of the title overall will continue to fuel the speculation.
